Re-leaf Landscape Design & Consultation | Seattle Area Landscape Design

Design

Design services begin with a phone consultation. I then send you a survey to fill out to get to know your requirements and dreams.

We'll meet in person to go over details and possibilities with all adults in your household, take photos and measurements of the site, and sign a contract.

I'll come up with three different landscape sketches that incorporate your vision and together we'll whittle the details down to one design. I keep in contact, ask questions, and send photos of plants that you may like.

I design the final plan and plant list and present it to you (there is still room at this point to make changes).

I can work with one of my contractors as a consultant as the design goes in, and even after the design is installed, I will keep in touch to make sure your garden is to your liking.

In addition I can color your plan (turn it into art that can be framed!) and make a monthly maintenance requirement list. I can provide a bid and/or charge hourly.

Consultation

Instead of creating or following a custom design, I can walk through your site and answer questions and provide suggestions and solutions. I'll write up notes from our conversations and even go to nurseries to help you choose the right kind of plants (which helps cut down on impulse buying!) and do any necessary research or referrals to other experts.

This is one way to save $$ by just getting garden tips rather than a full plan. If your garden is in fairly good shape and you want to add more flair this is a great approach.

Coaching

I can teach you how to garden more effectively and with enviromental sensitivity. For example: how to prune, improve your soil, plant and how to avoid pesticides.

Gift Certificates

Give the gift of gardening to a friend! I can provide gift certificates for Design, Consultation and Coaching services.
